Dr Salier was founder and co-owner of Sprott Capital Partners / SCP Resource Finance, raising over C$5bn in >110 equity placings in the 5Y to 2023. Prior roles include CEO of GMP Europe, a specialist natural resources broker dealer in London. A geologist by training, Brock started his career with the Rio Tinto exploration team in Australia and worked as a gold production geologist there before moving to Accenture London’s natural resources practice undertaking management consulting. He holds a BSc (Hons) and PhD (distinction) in Economic Geology from the University of Western Australia and is based between London and KSA.

He now runs geophysical consulting firm Terra in Australia. Barry specialises in exploration target-generation using innovative new techniques, with global experience focussed on gold and copper. He has seen exploration success across Africa (Kabanga Ni), USA (Ruby Hill Au) and Chile (Casale, Au/Cu). Barry holds a BSc (Hons) in geology from the University of Western Australia and won Advance Global Australian of the Year (Mining and Resources 2013).
